Comments block
Interactive
The comments block adds a discussion thread to a record page. Team members comment, reply, like, @mention each other, and attach files — the full history stays with the record instead of scattering across chat.
Settings
| Setting | Options | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Replies | on / off | Allow threaded replies to comments. On by default. |
| Likes | on / off | Allow liking comments. On by default. |
| Attachments | on / off | Allow file attachments on comments. On by default. |
| Mentions | on / off | Allow @mentioning app users. On by default. |
Comments belong to records, so the block lives on record pages only, and its source table must match the record page's table — publishing checks both.
Like every block, this one also has the shared block settings: a title and optional description, a header you can show or hide, auto-height, conditional visibility, and role-based visibility, plus the source table and record-filter settings shared by all data blocks.
